Franken-Peas Found Here

Peas need picking daily in order to continue growing. The more we pick, the more peas will grow. In fact, if we don’t pick them, the vines start to die.

Why “Franken-Peas”? Because the peas we find deep inside the vines are usually huge to bursting. Depending on the variety, they’re probably still tender and delicious.

Seeing yellowing, brown, unlovely pea vines is a sure sign that peas needing picking are hiding within.

We find them by reaching deep into the vines and feeling around for peas.

We find them by reaching deep into the vines and feeling around for peas. Sitting on the ground and reaching up, facing the same area from different angles, and reaching through the vines to pick peas on the opposite side from the one we’re standing on are all tricks to finding more peas.

At first appearance, the vines might seem to have no peas on them. Actually, there's a huge bounty every day.
