Bye-Bye Peas, Hello Squash

Gardeners and garden visitors have commented that our pea season seemed to last an unusually long time. Well, peas are over. And so much more is ready!

Two walls of pea plants come down for the season.

Around the perimeter of each row of peas, we planted carrots in four colors. We harvested them all after removing the pea plants.

Today’s bounty! Lots will go to the Unitarian Church kitchen for its free community lunch on Monday.
