Interdependence on Independence Day
We gardened, we ate, we enjoyed each other’s company.
July 4th means the reemay row cover comes off! The threats from pests and cold are down, and the plants are more robust to face whatever comes.
It’s much easier to tend uncovered beds.

Heirloom tomatoes are coming along. This year we’re growing Moskvich, Cosmonaut Volkov, and Carbon from seedlings that Patrick at Ananda Gardens started.
