With 16 percent humidity and a few clouds overhead, it was a perfect day to spend hours in the garden.
Caitlin is an enthusiastic waterer, all-around gardener, and gleaning & donations team captain.
A very special event: Volunteers from 350Vermont and Mother Up! brought 25 baby trees. Gardeners and other volunteers planted them in the “back 40” here. The 0.7 of an acre along the North Branch of the Winooski has been planted as a riparian buffer and habitat restoration project since 2015. We hope it’s just the beginning of reforesting Vermont.
