Gardeners Do Laundry Too

We cover rows with garden fabric to protect plants from frost and pests and to hold in moisture. The fabric is so wispy that even a light breeze makes folding it like trying to catch a bit of fluff.

This blue tarp looks manageable here.

The tarp is heavier than row cover, but look what the wind does! We had a reverse bouncy house situation going.

This gardener efficiently squeezes air from the folded tarp. Two more folds and it fit right into a bin for dry storage.
